A little addition to my previous post.
I love (and this may sound strange, but so be it) responding to accidents. There’s a weird serge of adrenaline when I’m driving to the scene because I never really know what I’m getting into or what I’m about to see. I dare say that sometimes it feels just like a movie, except I’m actually taking part in it - surreal.
So there, that and the weight loss are two positive things about my job :)

This totally happened at my house when I was 6…except it was with 3 chicks and I somehow ended up with a fat brown one and a small black one and my older sister got to have the yellow one. I was convinced mine were mutant ducks because at this point in my life I only had seen yellow ones.
True story.

A few things about my day: Thanks to my job being super face paced and stressful and tiresome, I have managed to lose some weight and can now fit into my bullet belt again after about a 2 year hiatus. And I don’t mean some Hot Topic bullet belt, I mean a belt that has a real mother f-ing bullet that my dad shot from a gun and then made it into a belt. Take that. So anyway, I guess that’s one good thing that’s come outta this job, eh?

A few things about my day: The sun’s over a yard arm somewhere…how’s that bottle opener idea coming along, Al?

A few things about my day: I’m wearing my wonderful new leaf earrings (the picture does not do them justice) that arrived in the mail yesterday via my dear friend Kari. Check out her blog and then check out her Etsy. Crafty folks will not be disappointed!
Note: the room you see behind me is the morgue - in our apartment. How does that make you feel?

Of course this is only hypothetical...
Say you went to school for something and enjoyed it while in school and even during your 5 week practicum that made you even more excited to continue in your chosen field.
Now say you’ve started your residency and everything, including your living situation, is tied up in your current position.
Let’s say you HATE YOUR LIFE because of said choices and are struggling with what do to next because you know if things stay the same you will die of a heart attack if not first having a mental breakdown.
What do you do about that?
